They usually pull EQ04 scores. That 692 should get you their lowest rate if you want to refinance now. The inquiry from the credit card app should be good for the refi and it will save you money. Might be worth looking into.

Any clue where I can find a EQ04 score?

You get it here when you buy the myFICO 3B reports.  You'll get auto score, mortgage score and bankcard score for all 3 bureaus.

However, only the FICO 08 scores will update when a score change is detected....You have to buy more 3 B reports in order to get updated auto, mortgage, and bankcard scores.

I also believe you can get it from Equifax with their scorewatch subscription.

Re: DCU CC

3B report doesn't update any scores. It is a 1 time snapshot.

3B score watch is what you are referring to and yes only the 08 scores update.

It will be on the "additional scores" after you have purchased the 3B report which is IMO the cheaper with the monthly subscription that can be cancelled.  Once you purchase the reports  it will be on your Equifax report under "additional FICO scores versions used in mortgage, auto and bank card decisions".  The score will be a snap shot and will not update outside of the time frame you purchase it.

FICO scores are your calling card to the business world. Build a negative reputation and those doors are hard to open, find that perfect balance of credit responsibility and those doors open when you desire them.
