@Anonymous Thank you for your comment. Yes, I am considering applying for a loan, I believe it's called the Pledge Loan. Maybe you can clear something up for me. I have heard that they will allow you to take out a secured loan depending on what you put into your savings account. Do they return your payments within a few days? I saw a video on YouTube that said they did. For instance, if I place $1,100 in my savings and take out a $1000 loan.... after I make the first payment of $100 (for simplicity's sake) will they then deposit my payment back into my savings leaving me with a $200 balance? I had this type of loan with another credit union years ago. Thanks in advance for any information.

@AllZero Thank you. Although the posts are from 2018, I believe I have my answer.
@Anonymous I can confirm that the Navy SSL technique still works as of February 2020. I followed those exact steps when I applied for mine this year.
