Hey Omar!  I got a giant $500.00 increase.  Not sure of the date since I never noticed it!  Too small really to notice the change.  But looks like somewhere around the 3 month mark is it.  I suppose they must have given me the cli after my statement cut on the 27th?

Been reading topics here practically all weekend. Decided to go for Discover CLI and got $500. First CLI for this card. $1250 to $1750...Feels like I earned something during the Holiday Weekend. Been trying the SCT to no avail yet. I heard it works better after midnight, so I'll try then. 19 Cards and counting...

I just tried on my Discover and got a ginormous $500. Woo hoo. I guess it's better than none which they told me my account was too new a few weeks prior. However taking that BofA gave me $5000 a few weeks ago, Amex $2000 and yesterday I got $3000 on one Cap 1 card and $1000 on another. So the $500 on Discover feels a little "meh".

I went to the site and then after filling out info it asked me for permission to look at credit report.  That's gonna be a hard pull, right?  I just am interested to increase limit but don't really need it.  Do they ever do automatic CLI's?  How often/when?  Account is only 6 months old and has a lousy $500 limit.

Yes to your first and second questions. As far as when, well that can vary. Probably on average every 6 months.

DW got a Discover with $500 limit, never a SP CLI (always asks to pull credit). Got auto-CLI to $3,000 after 14 statements. And nothing since then. Good luck.

Received an increase from 6k to 10k in June. Denied CLI in July for "not enough experience with present limit". Then earlier this month (Sept) had my on line request approved for a 3k increase to 13k. (All SPs)
