Just figured I'd put this data point out there for you all.... I got my Amex BCP 5 years and a couple of days after I filed for chapter 13 BK. 5k starting limit direct from the preapproval site. I've been using the card for a few months and easily hit the SUB, paying in full every few weeks and have a 700ish fico on all 3. I put in for a CLI on line and got denied. Just got my letter today and it said denial was due to having a BK on my file. So I guess I have a couple more years until this thing stops showing before I can try again.
