FICO scores are your calling card to the business world. Build a negative reputation and those doors are hard to open, find that perfect balance of credit responsibility and those doors open when you desire them.

that's a total misinformed CSR. you def. only need a 5k limit. BOA really thinks their visa signature cash rewards card is prestigious. the rep. was just telliing me all these disclosures and how im lucky to be qualifed for this. 

 

granted I had the card for 15 months and JUMPED through hoops to get that card to where it is today. BOA retention dept. once you are with them for like a year and they like you. It could be something as simeply as 699 declined, 700 approved.
