I was having the same problem getting a CLI and I deciced to use the chat feature and went from 900 to 3000 !!! I got turned down everytime I hit the love button !!!

Sounds like the same problem I was having with my Discover IT credit card until recently. Be patient the CLIs will come.

I always allow a balance to report, granted the balances haven't been very big I guess.  I'm ready to pull the trigger on a big purchase but didn't want to max out the card so I was looking for some cushion and hoping for at least a couple hundred.

So let me ask this then... if I go ahead with the purchase, which would be 90% of my credit line, and take advantage of the 0% (I've got the cash, debating on the 5% back or 0% financing) for a few months, is that going to look bad?  Overall my available credit is $22k so my utilization will still be low.

What I would do if I was you is log onto your account and click the chat button.  Ask for an increase that way, it doesn't matter if you were denied for one through the link or not.  Ask for way more than you need, they always counter-offer if you ask for too much.  I asked for $5000 they gave me $4000.  If they give you what you ask for then there is probably still money on the table.  I can never get the link to work, it always shoots me down but when I chat I have great luck.

I went through chat and the link.  Denied by chat and the link said my account could not be processed online... I don't know if that's a deniel or if it's just we can't process.

I had my Amazon Store card since Dec 2014, have had 2 CLIs on it since. First was from 600 to 900 and then i just did the chat and they raised it to 5000.00 i dont use it very often becuz the CL was so low, but now i may use it more and see if i can get better CL. Also, had the walmart card for 2 months so far, starting limit of 600, have never used it and used the online chat again, and they raised me from 600 to 3500. Cant complain but it looks like it may vary.

I got my denial letter today and they are using a cr from May in which they say that my score has likely not changed significantly since.  I know it's at least 6 points higher and I've added two new accounts and $15k in available credit to which they sited utilization (currently at 2%) and inquiries (6) and not enough debt experience.  Alrighty then.

Is the chat/link feature only available during limited hours? I've never seen the link.

My I ask if what were your scores when you ago approved for Amazon?  I was denied after my BK 8/2014

Wow thanks for the info, just tried the chat method and went from $700 to $3000
