Denied cli for csp

Back story I got my csp 3 years post bk7 filing after rebuilding and having a banking relationship with Chase(5k starting limit). Fast forward a year and a half and I decided to pull the trigger (No auto cli) for a hp to see if I can get a cli. No dice. So I wanted for the letter and they cite my no reporting as the sole reason for denial so I think I've got a chance on a recon. Analyst asks me a lot of questions and puts me on hold 3 different times. Again denies my cli. Says bk reporting and too many balances reporting. I let more than 1 card report a balance by accident.

Really kind of upset with Chase with this. I've put a good amount of money through the card and I have my banking relationship with them. Granted giant account balances with them but still. If I wasn't in the process of buying a house I'd apply for another card/account and be done with them. All 3 scores in the 710 range. Should I call back for another analyst?

if you do not have excellent credit, DO NOT apply credit or credit line increase when you have all ducks in the row.

AZEO (All Zero Except One) give you a fighting chance.

OP - You will not get ANYWHERE with Chase with the ch7 reporting. My ch7 was d/c on 10/2010, applied for CSP on 2014 and denied...approved on third recon for $5k. Since then, all attempts for CLI have been denials. Talked to EO last week, send my info to review with HP and outcome again was a no. I will be waiting until my ch7 falls on 10/2020...yes, my scores are also in the 700s. Let it go and raise your scores.

Meh, beg to differ here.. I first got my Freedom with a SL of $500 and was able to get a CLI to $5,000 in under a year. A bit after that I picked up the CSP w/ a $5k SL.

Yes, but OP was talking about the CSP.

Have you tried getting a CLI on your CSP?

Thanks I feel better about it now. Your profile is a lot better than mine and you still got denied even from the eo. Thanks for the feedback. I'll do a pc to a non af card and sd for awhile
