They clearly are disorganized. I hope you are able to PC. I'm glad I went for the Elite first
Im glad I got both,I applyed the day,That diners started taking apps again..was able to get 40K limit on each card
From what they lady told me and bits of info I get everytime I call it may be that they are going to start to shut down one card for anyone who has 2 cards. Lady told me there were application errors from the beginning and now its being straightened out. I however am NOT saying they are for sure but from the way the lady answered my questions that's the direction she was pointing me to. That could very well explain the same CL on both cards that people were getting.
I hope they don't do that you the people that already have 2 cards.

I'll wager the shut down is just as random as the CL granting. Some people will get their Elite shut off, others the Premier. And then we'll start seeing posts about people wanted the OTHER card shut off. To be continued.
They already charged people for annual fee so is it possible to charge customer for one year card service and then shut down them down before end of service? is it legal ??

Prorated refund most likely to avoid bad PR.

The time to get in with them for BOTH cards is when they first pasted to this forum those early weeks to be sure. Some bellyached over the $300 AF and then when they had a change of heart Diner's Club closed the window. I seen this before and why i encouraged for peeps to go after BOTH and at least give it a year. You could always drop the AF $300 Elite if it wasn't fitting in the works for you. The issue now is it looks like they have really clamped down on all aspects including Big Limits and who knows with any certainty if they are even going to reopen apps again or just wait for another time schedule later on many months from now if ever.

They denied me for things I didnt even know you could be denied for (read riot act) -- Im not too worried about it.
I blame the whole Diner's Club mess on you and your application. It totally screwed up their computers that they had to come up with new ways to decline. Their entire lending department spent weeks in conference coming up with those reasons and the whole place went kaput
