See below. Anyone ever see this before when applying @ Disco? I received an email from Experian immediately informing me of a change to my credit report.  Logged in and saw the Disco HP.

I received that same message when I applied (with pre approval) for the Discover IT Chrome secured credit card. About an hour later I received a phone call from Discover asking if I had applied for the card, then was asked a few verification questions. The following day I received an email telling me how to fund the account and that my application had been approved.

Not sure if this happened to me because of the prior app spree (24 new trade lines in 9 months), or if it had more to do with me burning Discover for $3,800 in 2010.

Prior to this approved app (4/18) I had cold apped (10/17) and was given a 7-10 day notice; when the letter arrived it said I had been denied due to prior default with Discover.

Since you have a fraud alert, you should probably call Discover or chat online with them to see if they need more information.

Congrats..

You can use the little dot-dot-dot menu at top right of the post & as a mod to move, if you wish.

They will see it eventually (usually fairly quick) and move it anyway..
