Hello,
I recently opened up a Discover IT credit card. With all of the posts about 16-17 days CLI, does that apply to new accounts? I was told by the Discover rep that I can apply for a CLI as early (or late depending on how you view it) as 3 months.
Thank you.
Your acct becomes eligible for your first cli between 61 and 90 days.

So I would have to wait 61 days to request my 1st CLI? Hopefully the 16-17 days CLI wagon is still around...
I suppose if I only wait 17 days and ask for a CLI, it'll just systematically auto-decline me?

Was wondering this myself since I just got back in with Discover. Thank you for the info!

One more month and you should get a cli. Mine was auto & then I started hitting the luv button.

Thank you.
My experience was that the luv button fun didn't start until Day 86.

My first luv button CLI was approved after 2nd statement but before 3rd statement, on 86th day after account opened
