Yeah right, I'll apply for a 2nd Discover card when hell freezes overThey've treated me so royally on my first one, conferring a $300 CLI on me once in a blue moon.
To use their phraseology 'I've had sufficient experience with their credit limits'.
Random question, is there a thread where you talk about your strategy of being approved for so much credit.
@FishingGuy Thanks, that is about what i did too, but i did grab a lot very quickly, seems to have worked out overall. Slow is definitely better
@SouthJamaica Second Disco is so much better. My first secured disco grad in 7 months easy.. No CLI, and maybe a 200 CL every 5th month.. Can you say "bucketed" I know Disco won't LOL Second card was much better and a CLI about every 2-3 months.

. If i csn get one next year after sccount combo that would be 4th straight year
The net gain on a Discover cashback double is what? $300 a year IF you max out each quarter? Is my math right?

If you don't use it for 2%, it's $600 - $75 per quarter regular, $75 per quarter match.
You can also get unlimited 3% back on every purchase with a Miles card. That can be very lucrative for people who have a lot of spend.

Ill never max out a cat or max spend so ill never know that feeling but heck , a little extra money doesn't hurt
Just trying to get a value on what is essentially opening a new card every year with Disco vs the return of churning other cards. It's kinda like sub hunting.
Am I looking at this right? If not maxing the spend of $600 a year, wonder if going for another SUB would be more profitable? Of course you could just want to stay with disco too.
