So, has this eer happened to anyone? Recently over the past month, Discover has ssent me no less than two applications in the mail. I cancled them years ago when they gave me a $1200 CL and then dropped it to $900 in like 6 months. lol. I closed the card and told them to kick rocks. Is this paybak? I literraly have a stack of applications they sent in just one month.
I never did like their rotation categories. I just don't have the time to focus on what I'm spending every quarter. Especially since I have other credit cards for designated spending. Is Discover hurting for customers?
The only email i get from Discover is a payment verification email for my monthly payment.
There are lots of scammers, ignore those emails.
The marketing company they hired gets lists of people from the credit bureaus based on criteria they set forth. You meet what they're looking for. They get paid on capture rate. The more applications that go out, the better chances of them getting paid. There's nothing else to it.
