Congrats on the approval. Discover CLs do grow fast. What are the current limits on your cards? That has an impact on why you were started with $1,200.
Is the 22% utilization the aggregate for your two previous cards?

Approved for Discover IT yesterday. First discover card I have applied for.
SL is just $1,200. Has anyone had success with recon of Discover SL?
Also, as others have reported, I use the Discover credit scorecard and am hopeful that this was only a soft pull for the instant approval. Would calling recon and requesting a larger SL almost guarantee a HP?
Lastly, this will be my 3rd credit card and my FICO scores currently are 637 Ex and Eq and 651 TU. Also, util when I applied was 22%. I do make a good salary, but with my current scores maybe I should just feel lucky to have been approved in the first place?
Regardless, I am happy with the approval, just wondering if anyone has had experience with this. Thanks in advance.
22% is the aggregate of both cards I currently have.
I have a Cap1 QS, 0% util with a $1,000 CL and a Cap1 Venture with 28% util and a $3,500 CL.

Discover offers a once a month free FICO score (different than the one they use for members BTW)... on their credit scorecard website...(so yes they are talking about that site)
Some folks have gotten a card with NO HP.... and this is very much a YMMV thing... if they are subscribed to Credit Scorecard and go through a preapproval....
Greetings!
I am a Scorecard member and did a preapproval though them on Jan 25th this year. It preapproved me for 2 cards. I picked one and hit the apply button on that preapproval for that card and was insantly approved for $8K with no hard pull.

I have the scorecard myself. Did you log into it first and then go to the see if you're prequalified link or just go to that one to begin with? I usually get preapproved for the main one and the miles one when I check. Would love to not have the HP for it.
