Re: Discover pending cli request

It wasn't 90 days for me. Got a CLI on 9/4. Requested another CLI on 10/5, and it was approved today 10/6. Went from 11.5K to 18K. I plan to try again next month on 11/6 or so.

Similar CLI for me. Upped to $11.9 on 9/2, now went to $17.9 today.

Congrats to both of you! Those are hefty bumps. Because of the double cash bonus almost all of my spend will be going to Discover for the next year, except for gas and groceries which will be on Sallie Mae, unless Discover has those for quarterly categories. Definitely seems like it could surpass my Quicksilver for being my highest limit in pretty short order.

Mind sharing how much spend was going through your cards and if you PIF during that time or carried a balance during the 0% intro? Thanks.

I spend only $300 or so a month on this card, but have been carrying a balance of about $2k for a little bit now during 0%. I'll pay it off in April when 0% promo runs out

Wow. That's not bad at all. I heard Discover was conservative. Looking forward to seeing what the CLI button does for me after 90 days and then I guess I'll try it monthly after that.

I PIF, and used the card as my daily spending card. I probably put 2K on the card last month.
