Do I try a new app on PenFed or not?

I'm in no need of new credit, but just want to move my banking needs to PenFed. I got approved for the Platinum Rewards Visa and got a LOC within the last 4 days, do you think it's to much to apply for the amex now? I just want to keep my BOA cards in a drawer and don't use them anymore. The point where I am now, is what can think PenFed about the new app. and if they decline it, can it be negative for our "relationship"? Thanks for your help,

I'm so confused by your post. Are you trying to get in with PenFed or in with Amex? Who gave you a PLOC?

What do your FICO scores look like and can your AAOA hold up now that you have 2 new accounts?

Yes, you should apply for another one if you want it.  Penfed uses the same hardpull for 90 days and applying for another card is not seen as a negative in your relationship.  Keep us posted on results on when you apply.

1.5 years is your AAOA before the LOC and Visa? Adding another card might put you under a year but do whatever Yes-Its-Me says because he is more experienced with such things lol.

My AAoA (with my math) will be 1.1year(S?) withthe new cards. I guess I will apply and see how it goes.
