Not yet, still gathering info
@morgacj2004 wrote:I saw in a prev thread a guy get approved for the Delta Gold and a couple other AX cards that I cant remember. His scores and profile were similar to yours. He got two instant approvals and had to wait on the third. His BK was around 3 yrs. I was really surprised. I prev attempted to apply for the Delta Gold card and was declined. My BK is almost 3 yrs old. The rep advised me to try in another year.
I saw that as well, I was pretty shocked! I dont get any love when I go to the pre-qual site but im assuming it's because it's seeing my BK. But that guy got LOVE!

True pizza. but op can't move it themself. then if you never had one op. Go for it. you would be good to go. just decide which one you want and can justify that AF.
Sorry I was on the fence on where to put this. Mabye it'll get moved.
Thanks for the input, it seems you all think I'll have a good shot. CK seemed to think so but I was unsure, well, because it was CK. But approval odds were "VERY GOOD". And it was the the ED card.
Quick question, why not the BCE or other blue cards? Just wondering.
Because the underwritng appears to be a little more strict. since you have a negative no need to push it. Info for you. Once you are in door with time under your belt with amex. They will let you have up to 5 cards. But your first priority is to get in the Door. Not kick it down with a BK. get in first. then worry about their prime cards.
Agreed, I'd just like to do just that. Get my foot in the door. I'd be totally happy with that. And once I'm "in", would the 3x CLI stuff apply to me if I did it correctly?
OP: I found the post in another thread that I was prev referring to. It was posted yesterday by jace8602. Here is the post. Hope this helps out.
"I posted about my 2 approvals a couple days ago for AMEX Delta Gold and PRG with a discharged BK Ch 7 (2/15/11). Next day after those approvals I also decided to apply for the BCP and after a few days of waiting I finally got an answer: APPROVED $1k!!!! "

Cards: Diners Club $10k, Care Credit $4.5k, BBY MC $3k, Cap1 VentureOne $3k, Cap1 QS1 $2750, Cap1 QS $2750, RBFCU $4k, Barclay Rewards $2500, Discover $1300, AMEX Delta Gold $3k, AMEX PRG NPSL, AMEX BCP $1k
AU: Amex Green NPSL, Amex ED $25k, Cap1 Venture $15k, Amex BCE $5k
Thanks for the info!
Question: how did you get your ED to $25k?
Sorry OP but those are not my cards. Those are the cards associated with the individual whose post I copied out of the other thread. I wish I had an AX ED with a 25k limit.
Honestly for some reason. Amex seems to be pushing the Ed. so if you do app. do it for Delta or the Ed. and yes. once you are a member. the 3x cli would apply to you from day 1.

So just the ED and not the EDP?
Thanks for the input!
