About a month ago I did an app spree. One of the cards I apped was the Ebates Visa. I got denied. I came here and read that its harder to get. I was ok with that and let it go. Today I got an email telling me why. LIke they spent a month considering this? Is it worth reconning? Can I recon it? Here is what they said for the reasoning:
SERIOUS DELINQUENCY
LENGTH OF TIME ACCOUNTS HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED
NUMBER OF ACCOUNTS WITH DELINQUENCY
RATIO OF BALANCES TO CREDIT LIMITS ON REVOLVING ACCOUNTS
The delinquency is from a University of Phoenix bill that is reporting past due each month until 1-2017 and is in dispute due to the DOFD being incorrect.
Number of accounts, I only have the one so not sure where that is coming from
Balances? My UTIL is 9% ($2363 of $27,150)
Is this worth trying to get them to reconsider and do I even have a chance?
SYNCB does not reconsider declined applications. If this were a verification request or instance, then yes. Anything outside of that you'd need to reapply again.
That is what I thought. Funny thing is I got the letter in the mail today. I won't reapply. By the time my iqs fall off I will have much better cards in my sight.
