But I was approved by Fidelity, which I've been with for much less time....
Good luck with this one!
It sounds like a lot of other people have had similar experiences. I wonder if it is the same group looking at applications for all card apps coming in for USB as well as Elan, and then basing their approval decision on a different set of standards for each individual product applied for.
That is how I would imagine it is done.
For what it's worth that's what I think too. They definitely combine services look at the mailing addresses.
I once had a "US Bank" HP for a "Elan" card application

Yep. Same phone number for US Bank UW is listed for Fidelity app status too.
ETA: Actually just double checked and they're different numbers but they use the same phone system.
I also flat out asked the guy if they do the UW for Elan too because when he took my social at the beginning, he was looking up apps, and he asked me "which bank or credit union did you apply through?" I figure the system was showing both apps so I told him that I applied through the US Bank app and then after he was done with that one, I was like "do you guys do the Elan cards too, I heard that you did and I have an app there as well" and he said they do and pulled it up and told me the status was the same.

That's an awesome definitive DP! Straight from the USB horse's mouth.

@Anonymous I knew it! And yes I've gotten Elan inquiries for US Bank and vice versa.
I am impatiently waiting on the update!

You and me both, I'm feeling anxious over his apps. As well as feeling like a junkie craving a fix on my pending apps in 52 days. 😂

Makes two of us! With Connect launching today I would have like an hour on hold so I'm just gonna wait for snail mail to get here. Hopefully I'll get two cards in the mail Wednesday or Thursday with at least $2K limits.

I bet the UW department is so busy with the apps, I actually feel bad for them.

They were already busy as heck before the card launched and despite their strict application rules, they are undoubtedly still inundated with new apps.
You have the myFICO brigade, the Connect release, and increased SUB on Altitude Go. I'm sure UW is busy.
