Good Morning all;
I recently applied for the Equality Card, I thought it'd be an interesting product; they actually give you the option to earn the 1% as cashback statment credits instead of being donated to LGBT charities. Anyway I digress they denied me for the card without even pulling my credit report; the denial stated that I had insufficient income, from this I can only assume that they want to see a high income on the application; before they will even consider you for their credit product.
Thought I would post my experience here for anyone else who was considering applying I make just shy of $20,000 a year which isnt a fortune but its pretty good for an 18 year old In my opinion.
I didn'nt need a new card anyway; I'm glad they made there decision on denial without causing me an inquiry.
Regards,
If they are going to deny you it's good you did not get dinged with a HP. You can save a HP for a card that is no so restrictive on income.
