Has anyone been asked by Chase to fax in your DL for additional ID verification and then subsequently were NOT approved for card? I'm just curious to know if this turn of events usually ends up with a positive or negative outcome.
From what I have seen on the forums, if Chase is requesting additional verification that usually means approval. Usually they don't bother with that if they are not going to approve, but you never know.
I've done it twice, both times approved. I have not seen a verification that ended in denial if all documentation has been provided.
You may need to exercise some patience with their process since it can take a couple weeks (at most) to complete. If you have a Chase banking relationship, then you can speed up the process by going into the branch and have them scan the requested docs so they can forward/submit to their verification unit.

I do have most of my banking with Chase. I went into the branch last Wednesday to submit the document because I thought that might speed up the process. However there is still no update. I have no choice in the matter but to be patient. Just hope it turns out in my favor! :-)

Yes you could still be denied. if you can't get them the info within 30 days. it really is an approval waiting to happen. Listen take some advice as they have the oldest fax machine known to man. even after you send the info they will come back and say too dark to read.
Or too lite to read. and someone must put in the info. Go to your local copy store. Copy your Dl and send the damn copy to them via overnight mail. certified. it will cost less than $5 bucks. and you will know when they receive it. if you need the address. i will gladly send it to you. but don't waste your time with the fax machine as the clock is ticking. I went thru 11 days of hell with chase to get my freedom. faxed. too light. faxed again. too dark. Went to branch. still could not see.
So i just sent it overnight via usps. and they received. when i called two days later. it was approved. after 11 days. good luck.
