FNBO Decline

Score 704 EQ, INQ:22, income: mid-six-fig, no derogs, DECLINED.  Reconned with supervisor, very nice lady, says "You are triple over the limit in the number of INQs we like to see" and "INQs fall off in about 6 months so you're welcome to reapply".  Yikes, really?.  DECLINED.

So they seem like an inquiry sensitive lender.

Their model probably dings your score far less for inquiries over 6 months old. Garden for a bit, if you will Smiley Happy

Re: FNBO Decline

My mother was declined for MUCH less INQ and EX FICO of 815. I'm trying to get her to call recon.

You might have done well to use this forums SEARCH feature for both APPROVALS & CREDIT CARDS before applying to FNBO.

They are notorious for denying on INQ's alone let alone new accounts etc. irregardless of healthy FICO scores.

I only had 8 INQ's last summer and they told me THAT was too many? They also pull ARS/IDS to weigh eligibility too.

Yeah they weirded out on me for not being able to pull ARS/IDA, Innovis all that.  They had to manually ask me questions off my credit report.  They REALLY didn't like that. The lady asked me why I froze all those.
