You might have done well to use this forums SEARCH feature for both APPROVALS & CREDIT CARDS before applying to FNBO.

They are notorious for denying on INQ's alone let alone new accounts etc. irregardless of healthy FICO scores.

I only had 8 INQ's last summer and they told me THAT was too many? They also pull ARS/IDS to weigh eligibility too.

Yeah they weirded out on me for not being able to pull ARS/IDA, Innovis all that.  They had to manually ask me questions off my credit report.  They REALLY didn't like that. The lady asked me why I froze all those.

Lol, what a bunch of wacko's.

I know right?  Issue the friggin card or don't.  My god.  It's not the pentagon.

I mean, it's no surprise given it's FNBO.  Play by their rules, or else move along.  There's been quite a few threads in the past about them accessing ARS/IDA.  Fine if you want to leave those two on ice but don't complain if there is no approval if they supplement their verification with those alternate ones (e.g. US Bank).  If you really, really want them, then you know what to expect.  Otherwise, plenty of other fish in the ocean.

They can do whatever is within thier permissible guidelines.  It's their policies and they hold the gold (if you want their cards).  So, either one can play by the rules, or... get declined.  You can do whatever you want with your CRs, but they're not obliged to approve if you don't meet their conditions, plain and simple Smiley Wink

Yeah, but those mickey mouse operations don't play by standard rules, and I won't let them be part of my approval/denial decisions.

Re: FNBO Decline

Love FNBO. Got no grief from them for having the secondary CRAs frozen. Very generous with CLIs. Sorry for all the bad experiences in this thread.
