Re: FNBO Mlife app advice

Has the application status updated online for you yet?

I actually just talked to them today about CLI’s on my cards as well as some other information. She told me bruntly that their just a smaller bank that’s very conservative 🙄, CLI can be done every 6 months, CLI on new cards are only available after 6 months(system literally won’t let them do it), absolutely NO balance carrying as they want to see you PIF, they prefer to see you use their card often, 1yr of non-use & cards are usually cancelled, & I’m not 100% if this is completely accurate but she said “their” SP CLI is based off their internal systems payment history you have with them & a HP allows them to see your whole report. Also if you do a SP that’s still considered an increase (assuming you get one) & you must wait 6 months.

Not knowing the above info last month I opted for a measly $300 SP increase on my card because I wasn’t sure yet if I wanted to do a hard pull & was misinformed that I could always call back & do a HP increase. Well now I can’t do a HP for a higher increase for 6 months, had I opted for the HP CLI I would’ve received a much larger increase. Lesson learned with FNBO....always do a HP if you really want a big increase.

I'm not sure that's truly accurate since lots of folks have received considerable CLI amounts without the HP.  A lot depends on the income information you provide (or that they have on file), internal history + periodic SPs on CRs so YEMV.   Mine have usually triggered $5K+ with each SP CLI, but I have stopped requesting for a while.
