I pre-qual'd for $7,500 and 25.24%. I just got a card from them in January. I don't know if I should dare to or not? 🤣
I am still leaning towards just a prequalified offer I don't think this is in anyway an actual preapproval.
@Hex wrote:It looks like 18.24% is the lowest APR they offer for this card. I've only made one previous FNBO application . I got denied for the Overstock MasterCard when they used to have it but that was about 4 years ago. I was ticked so I closed my Overstock store card and I haven't shopped there since. I don't really hold grudges that long but the site seems overpriced to me and I can never find any discount codes for that site. But I digress, I do think this is probably a fairly solid preapproval. I can't apply because I'm not currently taking on any new accounts (I refuse to use the "G" word). Maybe others will take the plunge.
Same here, and like I said, I don't think this is pre-approval, more like *it could be this*

^^^ I'm with her
Good luck with the app!
I don't know how accurate the pre-qualified is, but I got 14k and 25.?? when I tried. I've been denied by FNBO late last year (way too many inquiries/new accounts for their liking), so I'll hold off until another time.
Tried the prequal, also saw $15k at 22.xx%. Got my first card in January with them for $9400, so who knows?
I'm not a fan of FBNO/FBC (the division of FBNO) at all. However, I am a fan of pre-quals/pre-approvals. It just makes me feel good. I got the one above. Not part of the $15K club, but not bad at all. Not really a card that I need, but hey...nice to feel wanted if they approved it. I see the fun wording of "your benefits could be..."

I believe if you're within the general parameters of FNBO's velocity/inquiries, you should be just fine. Notwithstanding that, I still believe it's better than a typical pre-qualification, and not a preapproval.Double SP
Wonder if anything is different besides the ZIP codes, or if each data center location assess a different aspect of the prequal (i.e. for CL, and one for interest rate). Didn't see any SP on Transunion or Equifax. Of course, it may not have shown up yet, and it's likely an application would SP EQ and TU for good measure, if not additional HP.
I applied and was pre-approved for $15k my ex fico 2 is 686 with a discharged bk (March 2017) and got the pending review message. Just checked my email and it says I'm approved. Thanks op
