My problem is indeed with the snail mail aspect. This isn't 1998.
Add to the fact that my profile has multiple cards with higher limits then that one, I am not 'gagging' to get this card. I would have taken it if approved, but I;m not risking sending those documents in the mail for a pretty meh 2% card that won't be my daily driver anyway.
I was curious and these offers do actually change. My original offer 18 days ago was $5600 @ 18.24%, new offer is $5K @ 22.24%. Reason for the decrease is obvious - two new inquiries.

Good sign?
@spiritcraft1, Looks like a good sign.
If DW's income is available? , yes I would include it (as long as you can prove it, should they ask)
I realize this is kinda a late response.
Thanks, I can prove it. I actually sent it in a more secure envelope with the original envelope enclosed. We will see...

Good info -- thanks @Anonymous
@Anonymous wrote:I was Pre-Qual'd for a $14k SL @ 25% and took the offer. Was approved. My credit build isn't to the point where I'm able to get the lowest APRs just yet, but when I get to that point there are plenty of cards out there that are much lower than 18%.
Pulled EX9 specifically. Didn't seem to mind my 19 HP's or the 10 new accounts I've opened in the last year. Most importantly, didn't ask for income verification or bank statements.
Nice approval -- Congrats! & thanks for the DPs.
I got a flyer in the mail today from FNBO with what I thought was the card I got approved for, but it was an invite to apply for their 1% CB Rewards Card with a lower APR range (12.99-19.99%) and 3% BT offer instead of 5%. That'd be great if I knew I was getting the 12.99 rate (unlikely) or I needed the BT, but right now I don't (most of my UTIL comes from 0% interest promos from both BB purchases and Citi BTs I made when I got approved for the DC last year).
Right now I'm trying to refrain from any unnecessary HPs since I have my eye on an Elan Max Rewards card from a Credit Union I'll be joining soon.
I decided to try the prequalify after reading all of these threads. Prequalified for $14,000 at 18.95% interest. Went for the hard pull and instantly approved for $14,000. My highest SL to date.
EX fico 8: 702 (not sure of Fico 9) - corrected it was 702, now 701 after the inquiry
4 new accounts in the last 6 months
4 inquiries on report
Off to the garden for me!
My denial letter finally arrived today. The only reason listed was Excessive Inquiries, which doesn't surprise me. I was approved in October with 9 inquiries, and now I'm at 15 (two are theirs).
Congratulations on your approval, @Anonymous!
Like putting sweet candy in front of a baby's face. Oh the joy!
App'd anyway and of course denied
(i really expected that but they now know i WILL come calling when conditions are to their expectations)
Tried the prequal again today and it remains the same, no changes whatsoever.
As soon as the letter arrives i believe in asking reconsideration and intend to if even an inkling of a chance to get back in. No matter if it's toy limit. Just also got off the landline with U/W Dept. Gotta wait on the letter and go from there. I know or believe anyway that it's too early but geez why not just said No Offers Available after pulling a SP for the PreQual? Keeping it interesting for another time maybe?

Unless any of their policies have changed, I would temper expectations as FNBO doesn't entertain reconsiderations unless there are errors in CR data or due to verification. In the past, certain FNBO card programs offered a secured alternative in the event an applicant was denied, but so far no DPs on this particular product with that option.
