Canned or not, that's the offer I was shown and I got it.

If your question is more along the lines of whether the pre-qualification is 100% solid, it really isn't for a lot of profiles. Plenty of DPs upthread, of course. If FNBO finds your profile desirable then you could be approved.
I live in a state that is usually not allowed to even apply for FNBO products and services; it looks like that has changed. As far as I can tell, any state qualifies for their credit cards and can even pre qualify by clicking the pre qualify link and entering your zip code. Here is the link https://www.fnbo.com/personal-banking/credit-cards/
With their Evergreen card 2% unlimited cash back on every eligible swipe, this could be a better card for some and with it now open to more locations, the pre qualify link is a good way to determine if you might be approved for their card products.
@user979797 - there's already an active discussion (since April) associated with the FNBO pre-qualification topic. Please reference posts upthread.
Trying really hard not to go all MF on this and apply. I think a lot of us have a problem... Honestly, if there had been a sign up bonus, you'd be reading about my application. I already applied for the Wells Fargo Active Cash card (just waiting on them to verify my identity). I'm hoping that scratches the itch. I hope these pre-qual are reliable.
fnbo Pre-Approval ($11.3k at 18.24% APR)
The pre-qualification portal is not a 100% solid or realiable tool. If you notice when you submit your inputs, it says pre-qualified, not pre-approved. You can review the responses upthread to provide some insights on others who have pursued this method and their results. Obviously, profile-dependent.
I did the prequal to, it said $14,000 and like 14 percent. Then I got the message to. Just waiting! Experian I think its like 714 Fico 8
Trans Union fico 8 737, Equifax is 697. I have a thin file, just got a home remod loan for $20,000. Trans union only reports My chase freedom card and its only a 2 year file. EX has 8 years and EQ has 4 years. Chase reports to all three. I have a toyota motor account that reports on
EX and EQ. But have 2 lates from DEC and NOV of 2020. I am disputing them. I have bank records showing they got the payments.
Anyway, You think I will really get approved for this card?

Don't think thin file is a huge problem with FNBO, especially given the other data points. But I'd be worried about derogs, and it seems like FNBO is a little bit more erratic than other FIs. For reference, I got the pre qual offer for $7500 @ 24.99% APR. Applied and was instantly approved, kinda surprising since I've been on an app spree (just got Discover Student and Custom Cash in the last 2 weeks). INQs: 4/6, 7/12 Accounts: 1/6 (should be 3/6 but disco/CC hasn't reported yet) 3/12 (again 5/12). FICO scores around 720-740. Hope this DP helps other people.
I was curious so I checked the preapproval and I am approved for the FNBO evergreen $15,000 SL @ 22%. 0% APR on spending and BTs and 2% cash back. Now I am thinking of getting it to replace my Quicksilver which has been slow to grow at $3,800 and 1.5% cashback. I don't use the card, but it's the card I have my daughter as an AU on and she uses at college. Just not sure if I want the ding for a hard pull and new account. Lol
I was actually thinking about getting this card. However, I have seen mixed feelings about it from the forums and other reviews on FNBO. Some say it's a great, simple card to use with a great introductory APR offer. Others say that each quarter they reduce their limits even with PIF, get approved but for a drastically different limit than what they saw, or poor customer service. Just don't know which side of the fence I should be on with this company/card.
