@phoenix12 wrote:I was actually thinking about getting this card. However, I have seen mixed feelings about it from the forums and other reviews on FNBO. Some say it's a great, simple card to use with a great introductory APR offer. Others say that each quarter they reduce their limits even with PIF, get approved but for a drastically different limit than what they saw, or poor customer service. Just don't know which side of the fence I should be on with this company/card.
Well I was just approved for the card with exactly the SL/APR listed in the pre-qual. I think it's profile-dependent on how accurate the pre-qual is. And I called customer support with some application questions and they were very friendly and helpful- but then again YMMV. I can't speak to the CLDs, but we'll see. If you can afford the hard pull and want it, I'd say go for it. If you already have a 2% CB card, then meh.
@GrainFan I'll probably bite the bullet and apply once my card report PIF in a few days. Did you get any pending messages where you had to send stuff in or was it just an instant approval?
@phoenix12 I got an instant approval which surprised me- the other cards I've gotten recently had me do some verification, but I definitely remember seeing some people who had to verify info. Best of luck if you do choose to apply!
I was preapproved for 15K. I went ahead and applied and got the "pending message". About a week later, I got a letter requesting copies of my W2 (2 years), DL and SS card (signed). The DL address also had to match my mailing address.
I've never had to do so much to get a card but a 15K card was worth it to me. I dropped it in the mail on a Friday night and this Tuesday, I got an email letting me know I am approved for the full 15K. Not easy, but not bad either. I'll take it.

@sophiebelle - Congratulations on the new card and thank you so much for sharing your experience. I got the pending message after a pre-approval as well a couple of days ago so it's nice to know there may be a wait to hear something.

Same, got exactly what was shown in the pre-approval as well.

Awesome, glad it worked out for you. Should be a nice card to have with a great starting limit.
Same limit as me, congrats @phoenix12 ! I'm still waiting on mine in the mail, but the green definitely looks nice and I'm excited.
Yes @GrainFan ! The green certainly is a nice-looking card. I just hope the credit limit stays consistent and no CLD's happen even with constant payment history. They said 7-10 days... curious to know when you applied if you haven't gotten it yet.
