Good afternoon everyone!
So I applied for the Fidelity Visa Signature. I have a 401K with them, and I got a message that they are pending my review. From my research on these forums I hear that it's not uncommon as they are more conservative. I called the application number and put in my social but the automated person couldn't find my application, I could have spoken to a person, but I figured maybe it is best to wait.
My credit score is 738 no baddies, no defaults, etc. My average age of accounts is a little low, other than that my credit profile seems to be in good shape.
Would there be a reason why the automated person couldn't check my application status, would it be due to the fact that it stills needs to be manually reviewed by someone?
Thanks for your help!
I was instantly approved for this card last year but and some other Elan/Us Bank cards. 80% of my apps were instrant but the ones that were not, when I called the status line the automated person couldnt find my application and id hang up. two days later i would see the account showing up on my landing page. I think you got the card. give it a few days and check your fidelity account to see if its there.

Thanks for your response. Thats what I did early, called and hung up. I'll check my fidelity account in a couple of days.
Thanks again!
I was approved for this card last month and also did not receive an instant approval.... the new credit account showed up when I logged into my Fidelity account two days later. So as OP mentioned, I would just check your account in a couple of days.
Based on your stats you should be in good shape for an approval. My scores are lower than yours and I was approved for $4.2k CL. Good luck and keep us posted.
Elan is not any of the best credit card companies who are good at applications. I'd go with Citi Double Cash if you get choice.
Still a good flat 2% card though. I have it, but in my box now. I use Chase Freedom Unlimited instead.
So after over a week of not hearing anything, I logged onto my email and saw an email from Fidelity, they approved me! I don't know what my limit is yet, I have to get my account number and have them link it to the credit card.
