I've been trying the FNBO website a few times in the past, and the only offer I would get was the secured card.
Last night when I tried again, got an offer for the $6400 and highest Apr. I don't have any good visa card (Just Mastercard or Discover) and I wanted one for my Costco trips.
Pulled the trigger and got the 2-4 weeks messages, then got an email a few hours later for 10-14 days. So wait and see. My ex is at 695 13%utli but loads of HP and a few news accounts in the last months so wait and see.
Well good luck, be sure to keep us up to date once you hear more
Thanks
Mark

Updated! DENIED! I will get that letter in the mail soon. I guess I won't even fight it. I will let the SO pay with her visa when we go to Costco!
That sucks. I also need a good Visa card for Costco trips because the only visa I own is my bank card. Too many inquiries on my report for me to attempt. I've seen people with 10+ inquiries on Experian still get it tho.....
Any reason why you didn't try citibank ?
Sorry to hear = I was on the fence with their pre-approval offer and decided not to go for it due to the unreliable approval.
Try Comenity Visa or a Comenity store branded VISA.
I got a huge SL from Comenity for a Sportsmans Guide VISA and did not have a HP either.
It was a shopping cart trick offer and resulted only in a SP.
I use the $7,500 Comenity VISA for my Costco gas & shopping trips.
So.... Update 2! I got my denial letter last night from FNBO and the reason was "your credit file is locked, contact experian to unlock it". It was unlocked at time of the pull and I got a HP. So I called, and the CS told me it was mostly an address issue (I added a UPS address to my applecard because I didn't want my replacement card to chill at my door all day). So I called back this morning, told the story again, and she confirmed the issue was the address, told me she was going to send the application for reconsideration. So wait and see now.
I'm not trying Citi again because I had a secured card with them 3 years ago that they had to close (paid off 2 months later) and I have a Macy card with them for $500 and they are not ready to increase my limit.
