Don't feel bad, I seem to miss all the great deals too. And the chances of being approved would be the same whether you app'd through Amazon or straight through Discover; the only difference is the $50 gift card

That would be awesome, but since it's Amazon who gives you the gift card, and not Discover, I don't think it gets doubled.
