So officially I am gardening for a month now till I hit my year mark on April 2st 2019. I will be eliminating 2 cards with AF during that time as they will never grow and don’t have rewards anyways. I am also trying to get some of these inquiries down as my EX has like 20 on it and EQ 6. Oh and lowly old TU has only 3. I don’t know if it’s because of my state or what but when I was apping nearly all of them pulled EX. I wish they would pull EQ as it has close to a 750 score whereas EX sits at 704 at the moment. During that time I will be looking to grow my PenFed for example with a SP as well as my Cap 1 QS. Those should all be SPs. I will accept a HP for USAA when the luv button shows up hopefully. Otherwise no HPs. Come April assuming I don’t f anything up I hope to app for an additional Cap 1 card as well as the new WF Propel card and the USAA Amex card. I am very interested also in the usbank cash + card but I will see when that time comes. For now I want to see how my scores grow as the PenFed effect as I call it kicks in. My goal currently is minimal 720 across the board. Eventually 750 +. So looking forward to the apping season to come.

A PenFed CLI is an Equifax FICO 8 hard pull unless you're fortunate to be offered a CLI after one of their quarterly account reviews.

So far as I know they use fico 9 from EQ. But no matter. IF they offer naturally I will accept I got 20k with them now so maybe they won’t offer. If that’s the case I am ok with it. They gave me a lot already. I joined them with a squeaky clean EQ so as long as it stays that way I imagine in about 6 months I might start seeing offers. But as always time will tell. Till then I will enjoy my PCR and Pathfinder Cards.

Correct, they pull EQ FICO 9 scores.  Good luck with their offers; my account with them will turn 1 yr old in August and I've never gotten any offers despite a 785 FICO 9 score.
