Diners club lounges in u.s are very limited, and it's free with diners club card, the rep told me that all diners lounges are free but from what I read online, you might have to pay some fee in european lounges. more info here, and you can find diners lounges here, and premier and elite comparison here

@Anonymous

I called because I actually did received the pin code, but until then I didn't know if I was approved or not. I applied on 11th and got 7-15 days message, got the pin code on 20th, received the card on 25th.

Oh so they couldn't give you any info before you got your pin? 9 days till you got your pin, more than what otheres have been stating. Maybe there's hope afterall lol

I think you should chill out and stop worrying about it so much. This ain't Chase bank..  I got the 7-15 day message and then didn't hear anything until the 11th day when I got the PIN letter in the mail. Then the card arrived the next day. They are way behind on processing apps. Probably because people keep calling them. Smiley Happy

Re: Giving up on Diners Club

Both apps were 7 to 15 day message.   My original post addressed how after 3 week of waiting and calling Diners Club, i finally found out I was declined due to my TU credit report showing my po box as my primary address instead of my physical address and that once I had that issue addressed, I had to reapply with Diners Club.

Re: Giving up on Diners Club

So i called last night again got a different csr and now they are telling me still no second account opened. so i have to wait for the mail that they are not able to say if its pending , declined or pending . its like i dont get why they all give different information cant they just get it together. especially if you where approved for the first card , should it not be easier to determin the approval process for the second card with approved or declined.

Yeah i do agree, seems like they are using some crypto technology that only some of them can unscramble and only half the message is read

Re: Giving up on Diners Club

Yes!  Card arrived about a week after approval via UPS next day air (sent from Canada with sig required).  I've used the card.  It works! lol

For me, the $95 annual fee is worth it just to have such a high credit line reporting (whenever the time comes that it reports)  6 months ago, my highest line was $10k and then NASA broke the glass ceiling for me at $30k.  After NASA began reporting, the floodgates opened and my $10k high line became $15k, other approvals began rolling in for $10k+ and just last night, had a 5k paypal credit line raised to $15k by calling the Sync Underwriter hotline.  It's amazing how having one high credit line reporting can change the limits of new cards as well as get existing lines raised.  Always a good idea to get this done when you don't need the credit as you can almost never get it when the opportunity arrises to actually use the credit.

Somehow it's final arrival makes all that calling n waiting well worth the stress doesn't it?
