I would try to recon since you wasted 3 HP with EO. I would not do those cards. I would try cap one sec, BoA sec or maybe a CU. But don't waste your time with them espically credit one.
@Anonymous wrote:your welcome!! it really is a awesome and rewarding medical field... i know some people who have done it and they wouldnt change anything.... pertaining to the first premier card and credit one, ive read horrible reviews are you sure those are worth it, or should i just try higher up EO method for the capital one??
Are your collections on all your reporst?
Most of the collections are on transunion and Equifax, there are a few on experian. I was thinking that a recon would be best considering they did 3 hard pulls as well. Do you know the correct way to do this with capital one? Every post I've read says different ways, do you happen to know the most effective way? I really feel like if I just reach out to them they might reconsider. It's worth a shot at least. 😃
Do you have your actual Fico reports for all three bureaus?
Medical Collections are fairly easy to deal with. Do you have any other collections?
You have some history with Synchrony bank that was a good account (CareCredit).. I would try Walmart for a revolving account. Walmart also provides a Fico every month (a real Fico, not a Fako).
I would stay away from CreditOne as they have high fees. If you can afford to secure a card, go for the Bank of America Secured and / or Discover Secured. The BOA card will unsecure in no time with good usage and history and they are a great lender to get in with.

Executive Office via email is your best route. You will get a return call.
I do not have any other collection, except for a $35 library book that wasn't returned I just found out about. I am calling to pay that tomorrow. 😊 can you email me the EO correct email address? I googled one and I just want to check to see if it is correct before I send all my personal info out. It was from a consumerist site.
ok, i just sent an email to r******.f*******@capitalone.com I hope that was the right one... i really hope that i have as much luck as everyone else seems to have, i cant even explain how happy i would be if i got an approval. i never realized how important credit is until recently, i have always paid cash for everything. i also had no idea how frustrating this all could be either... the anticipation waiting for a call back is going to kill me!!! thanks everyone for the pointers and God bless to you all
> ok Enough Doctor with niceties & Work.. great field, very rewarding.. good! > Done!.. No! do not do Anything with Credit one or first premmy Anything.
call 1-800-955-1455.. ext 858834 ask to speak to someone in EXECUTIVE OFFICES NOW.. ask to please recon again witha small line for the Holidays, explain those damn! things on your report.. see what they say... be nice, but firm.
Welcome to the boards!
Like the other posters mentioned that since you already took a 3 pull hit your should contact EO for a recon. Be prepared to answer questions regarding your credit report, specifically the collections.

Good luck and keep us posted.
