You are going to be 4/4 .. Verification is a sure thing approval as well.. Good limits as well! Congrats again! Just got home from the game
I have verification on both cards.. If you are verification it is approved... They wouldnt waste your time nor theirs
Thanks. What do they normally need for verification? Do I have to send something in or is it just answering questions?
Most likely they will just transfer you monday when you call UW/Analyst unless they already gave you the # when you called then... Anyways after the transfer the typical questions are what is your B-Day followed by how old are you...Strange I know then typically ask for an address or two previous on your credit report.. That is about it... Sometimes they will make people fax in the SS card and License, but not isn't typical these day.. Once questions answered they will transfer you back to UW and they will tell you your limit and congrats etc.
@red259 wrote:Ok here are the results so far:
Barclays arrival plus instant approval 7.5k (not sure how this ranks among typical starting lines on this card or how difficult it is to get CLIs from barclays down the line?)
citi hhonors reserve instant approval 10k (not super happy with limit since my other citi card is 11k and I will have to close it in a few months and Citi can be a real pain about moving credit lines)
amex everyday card - instant approval 5k (this is a decent starting line given their credit limit policy - I have 17.1k on my BCP that I will likely move over to this card in the future)
Chase hyatt - I got the ten day notice on this card - Not sure if recon is still open today? Over the summer I got an ink card and chase made me move some of my personal limit from my CSP over to Ink to get it. Now my CSP is down to 12k and I am really hoping not to have to give up more credit limit to get this card, although in the end since the hyatt card has a restaurant bonus (and I tend to use UR points on Hyatt) and if I can't downgrade the CSP to CS I will be cancelling it anyway it may be a moot point. I just kind of wanted to dump my CSP cl into my freedom card to be able to make it a visa signature.
So after I get the chase thing straightened out I will likely garden at least 3-4 months at which time I may go for a business card to use on a trip I am planning in May. Otherwise I will likely garden till June.
BIG Congratulations!!!

Thank you all for the advice and support. I will update on Monday when I call into Chase verification.
Hi Red, I recently went through this. I applied for the United Mileage card and the Chase fraud department called me, asked me some questions (including who I named as my authorized user) and then she asked me to fax in a copy of my DL and a utility bill, despite the fact I had just gotten the Freedom a month prior. I faxed the documents the next day and I didn't hear back; looged in to my Chase account last week to pay my Chase bill and saw the United card added. I had never heard back and haven't received the card yet. I'm sure you're good to go, hopefully without having to fax docs!
people get chase verification confused with being denied or something.
When an app goes to verification it is already approved and they are not even credit analysts, it's just like comenity's "consumer protection department" they just pull up public records and you answer correctly and system spits out the approval.
they are only open monday-friday i believe like 7- something eastern
