Ok. Since I had three inqs from 1/2/14 that should have dropped off my report by now (I have two inqs in past year and none in past six months) I am ready to pull the trigger on the following cards in this order (please advise if I should switch the order around but its in order of priority of cards I want at the moment:

1. Barclays Arrival plus

2. Amex everyday

3. citi hilton hhones

4. Chase hyatt

I'm a bit concerned since all these lenders seem to pull experian. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Haven't paid attention to which creditor pull which bureau until I'm interested in these credit pokemon game.

Both Chase and Barclay's have always pulled Transunion for my applications, and Equifax for Citibank, though your mileage might vary depends on your address

... I know friends of mine that actually use different billing addresses to apply for different cards just  for "damage (inquiry) control" lol

Re: Here I go

Nah no downside really... IMO you might certainly have to recon Barclay's are they are strange and alot of security.. Not a denial just verifying who you are is all...  W/regards to Chase you might just have to call UW/Analyst, but they are still open today for same reason verification, but most likely you will get by that fine... So you are set... Citi i doubt will take a recon and amex there is no recon per say.... you are set

If I app for Barclays and they make me recon like you mentioned will they be going off the initial HP when deciding or will they see the subsequent HPs? Basically the question is if I app for a barclays and get a wait message is there any downside to pulling the trigger on the other apps?

Initial HP imo.. obviously they could softpull you if they so wanted to if you are instant approved on monday, but most likely they will use the same HP and IMO the only other one on your list that might use TU is Chase.... Those are just my opinions though.  Nixon can chime in as well Smiley Happy

Re: Here I go

Barclay - TU Pull

City - EQ or EX pull most likely

AMEX - Experian

Chase Hilton - Either be a single HP from one of the three or double for one of the three.. That is a tough one to call.  But they arent very inquiry sensitive.
