I had five CC's with Synch Bank and in the past week got approved for two more Stash Rewards Visa and Bp Rewards Visa why is Synch Bank seem to approve every application I submit and give decent CL's. I'm not complaining just really curious about their openess to approve. I see so many posts where people are just getting approval after approval after approval from them. Anyone have any ideas?
Congrats, but what's your motivation behind so many cards from a store card lender? If it were me I'd try to sneak in the door with some of the bigger prime lenders versus burning up your HP's on Synchrony. But, that's just my two cents.
well to be honest Synch Bank seems to be the only one approving me for CC's Amazon Prime was the only store card i really went after because i buy at least daily on their site. Walmart was just a whim but its not the store card its the actual Master Card i can use anywhere and the interest rate is lower than the store only card. Belk was only for a quick sale price on an item there is a zero balance on the card and really only would use it if i saw something really unique. Lowes i got because Home Depot Denied me. I dont have a long enough history i guess for Chase Citi and Amex so my plan now is to garden for all of 2016 and maybe 2017 to let my AAoA grow and have some of the rather immense HP's i have compiled in the last 8 months. My Goal is the Cap 1 Venture and at least one AMEX not interested in CIti Discover or CHase banks
Your TU score is perfect synch cards right now. therefore, id do the same thing/ did the same thing. I have like 11 synch cards and Im not worried it with them. your other scores are borderline on depending on lender. but if you wanted another TU puller, Barclays and that 730 ish score would be great and then garden time. also at some point with synch if you do a lot of applications back to back or 4-6 in a short period of time, they become lackluster and or possibly declined.
Its funny you say that about Barclays your the second person to tell me to apply BUT I REFUSE they have blatently denied me not once but twice I called for a recon and the lady who was extremely rude said i did not have enough credit history or revolving accounts showing good payment history and to apply back in 6 months. SO i did and once again they denied me even after a pre app so i decided they are on my Never try again list along with Chase. They can keep their cards and their rude CSR's.
Im with you on the barclays boycott lol
That was the first card that I applied with after having established credit and figured id try since it kept being pushed on me as GOOD approval odds through credit karma and was flat out denied. I mean I am in no way condeming them, but its just something about that bank that I figured I would never apply there again even with my excellent credit profile and the banks that took a chance on me when these others wouldnt, have my business (synchrony).
Sorta like the girl you wanted in high school and ignored you throughout and once she sees youre successful and other girls are on you then wants to holler at you LOL ! Thats barclays for me
