CapOne is a strange beast, I now just keep my SavorOne as my AZEO balance card ($3 month-to-month), and my WM CapOne only sees the light of day once every 8 or so months,
Old thread got resurrected, and I still haven't gotten another CLI on that card. It's been stuck at $5850 since January 2022.
I did manage to PC it to a SavorOne. That seems to still be a rare PC for them to allow.

I got the "Request recieved . . . 2-3 business days . . . " answer. Today I received the official answer: "Recent use of this account's existing credit line has been too low"
This is how I've used the card since the last CLI ($500 boost up from $5350 to $5850 in January):
Feb spent $500.00. Statement balance $0.
Mar spent $808.65. Statement balance $0.
Apr spent $400.00. Statement balance $0.
May spent $8.65. Statement balance $0.
Jun spent $8.65. Statement balance $0.
Jul spent $660.00. Statement balance $0.
Apparently that's not enough. What's the current theory? You need to spend 35-40% of your limit in a 3-month time or something like that? $500+808+400 is 29% of my current limit. I don't see spending more than that on this card any time soon.
I was declined last July and, though I tried each month thereafter, it ended up being a full year before I got a CLI. You gotta love Capital One. It may be a very long time before I use this card enough to get another CLI. Oh well, sock drawers need cards too.

not good advice - respectfully I disagree.
yes cap one likes riskier profile, and who doesn't like making interest income? they have a variety of income sources from your credit card use.
You should really be using 29% monthy not combined lol and let a little balance report unless you're got everything planned out for a spec reason.
ask for a cli every 3 months as long as its a soft pull only.
Cap one doesn't like super prime borrowers or superprime credit habits.
or at the very least, let a balance report.. when an underwriter sees 0..0...0....0..0.. and someone asking for more credit.. its like nope you aren't even using the cred you have!
just because you let the balance report also does not mean you will pay interest.
We are an OCD bunch. lol

Agree with this 100%.
Ask for CLI they give you $100
Carry a balance around 50% or higher and they slap $2k on the limit without you asking.
If you ask and get the $100 then you are stuck for 6mo before you are eligible again. I've had multiple generous auto increases while carrying balances
