Re: How do I get two Cap1 cards using one triple pull

It's never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever based on apping back to back. Enter in the same info on both apps and app within the same day. Period. They'll do separate pulls but the Bureau will delete one thinking its a duplicate error.

I apped for a venture , went to review(eventual approval with a 688 score), apped for a chase sw premier about a half hour later, boarded a flight to Denver, landed, filled out the venture one app, instant denial, the eventual letter I got was for a 667 score(same bureau as first).

On CK after the v1 app I was updated, ended up with 2 pulls on TU, the next day I got an update(I don't recall for what) and I now have 1 inquiry across all 3 bureaus. Research it beyond the same things that are repeated on myfico. The lender has ZERO to do with you ending up with one pull(except in the occasions CU will explicitly use the same pull for multiple products). Every lender. And I mean every. Will make a pull each time you apply for anything. They aren't doing you a favor at all.

Those who don't end up with 1 pull either 1. Aren't entering the same info on both apps or 2. The lender has multiple UW locations that the apps are being sent too(not very common).
This is also why DCU has to have a separate pulls for membership and loans(different locations). Dcu will use the loan pull for credit products, and the membership pull for checking , etc(staying within the same dept)
