I have had my CFU for about 6 years now. When It got approved initially I had a CL of $12,500, this was a year or two into my credit journey. After about 6 months of having it, I had some big spend come up and I maxed it out. It was bouncing between 99%-101% for about 4 months, during this time I never missed a payment, and never have on the card. When they day came that I was able to pay the card down, I paid it in full and that was that. A week or so later I had noticed they slashed my CL to $4,500, understandably so, and it has been that since. Is it worth the HP to try and get my limit on that card back up? Or is that past AA enough to prevent me from getting any more CLI on that card?
They did approve me for the Amazon Prime Visa for $15,000 back in April. Not sure if that is indicative of how they view me, seeing as it's not a core card.

@SDMarik, If your Siggy is current?, you possibly might get denied based on being over 5/24.
They started enforcing the 5/24 CLI thing, right after covid-19 hit.
I have NO idea ..if they have relaxed that rule?
@coldfusionwould probably know?

Good to know, wasn't aware of the 5/24 CLI rule, I wasn't necessarily planning on going for it anytime soon, just putting together a roadmap for my next cards and was weighing the benefit of a HP cli. Thanks for the input!
This is news to me. I never know Chase is doing 5/24 on CLI also. Good to know this. Is there any other data points pointing to this? Just for my education on more on Chase cuz I wanted to get some of their cards. I'm on the garden until Jul 2024 - just for Chase.
In your case, I don't think they will hold a grudge. Chase thought you were a risk and took action. Since then, you paid it off and kept your Utilization down.

Couple of DP's ...I clearly remember reading these ....I would NOT want to be the GP for science on this!
