Requested a CLI through the website last night on my Cash Rewards Plus (183 days from my first CLI) and got the message about my CLI request being reviewed. How long does it typically take to get a decision in these cases?

My last two NFCU CLI requests were not instant approvals but showed up online the next morning. My requests were made on business days, so perhaps yours will show up tomorrow (Monday)?

you can keep an eye out on the card itself to see if the CL is shown to have gone up (this will happen before you get notified, if approved)
you can also secure message and ask for status and denial letter pdf (if there is one)

I took a vacation for a music festival and kinda forgot about it for a bit, and still had no decision or letter, so did the secure message and it was denied (stating I'd get the letter in 7-10 business days, though it was already 10 business days when I got the denial response). I haven't seen the letter yet so not sure what the issue was, but I'm wondering if there was a timing issue where I wasn't eligble yet. My understanding has been 91 days for the initial CLI request and then 181 days after. Does my initial auto CLI coming at 78 days instead of 91 mean I'd have to wait an extra 13 days to be eligible? If that's the issue I should be good to go, but since I haven't seen the letter (went out of town for the holiday the day after the secure message response) I'm not sure.

Auto CLI's reset your CLI timer. This has happened to me before, which is why I've called them and had them disable the Auto CLI feature on my card. However, they have said that whatever increase you get from the auto CLI is what your account would've qualified for at the time.
@SmileNWave I get that it resets with an auto CLI, but I was 183 days past the auto CLI, so what I was wondering is if the problem stemmed from the auto CLI occuring at 78 days and not the typical 91 days where you can make the first CLI request. This had me thinking it wasn't just 181 days from the first CLI, but 181 days after hitting 91 days (to where if the first CLI auto comes early you still have to wait out till the 91 before you add your 181. I don't know if this is the issue or if I have another problem preventing me from getting a CLI. I've been out of town, but had a roommate check my mail and still no letter as of yesterday which was 21 days from the request. I tried again last night just to test out my hypothesis that the 78 day auto CLI plus the 181 were the problem but got the same we're reviewing your request message as the first time.
