How long to wait for next Chase card?

How long should i wait before applying for my next Chase card? Got the Chase Freedom 3mos ago.

I would like to get the freedom unlimited and maybe the CSP.

I got the IHG ($15,400) in May I believe then app'd for the Ritz ($18,100) 30 days later and was approved instant. My first Chase products albeit co-branded. I know some have warned about to much too fast with Chase... but I would think that after 3 months you wouldn't be pulling an "too early triggers" and I'd say go for it if your profile supports, but maybe wait until that AAOA reaches 12 months though..  You might see a decent score bump when it does..

Unless you went on a app spree invovling a bunch of different cards and issuers I wouldnt worry "too much" about it...

But chase is notorious for closing people's accounts after they got approved for a bunch of cards including a Chase card and then within a short period of time trying to get a 2nd Chase card.... They use that opportunity from the 2nd hard pull to review your report and see if you have been credit seeking.....and the result is usually complete closure of all your chase accounts.....

Under the tab link "Your Offers" in my chase freedom account, recently received the following message "browse offers we've selected for you based on you relationship with Chase" and 2 selected offers for me with a green checks

the CSP and CSR offer both with fixed APRs in the pricing & terms.

is the chase your offer system typically pretty accurate?

Fixed APRs are usually solid offers but as others have mentioned - if you have applied for other cards with the Chase or anything since - I would thread softly. If Chase feels like your seeking credit - they have been known to shut down all accounts. If you need it, I would go for it, but if you don't and it's more of a want, I would wait for a bit.

If you have prequals with Chase and your current Chase card is 3 months old, I’d say it’s pretty safe to go for it. Chase shutdowns mainly happen to people who engage in MS or apply for an exorbitant amount of credit in a short period of time. You should be fine.
