How many is too many?

Hello all.  I have recently been approved for 3 major CCs and wanted to app for either Chase or BBVA before I garden.  I dont want this to look negatively.  Will this have a negative effect if I app for one more?

In my opinion, I would garden for a little bit before applying for chase since you've JUST applied for three cards. Chase is not to keen on inquiries. Just garden maybe 6 months (at the minimum) then go for chase. Giving you a better chance at approval and decent starting limit. Maybe I'm wrong...anyone else???

I have some high limits already...18K and 10K...not sure how they base the SL, but scores are 700+.

I've appd for over a dozen new cards with Chase being second to last. Instant approval for 5500. CL. They pulled EX which is my highest score, but also has a dozen recent INQ's from my app spree. So if your scores are decent, definitely go for it. Chase will do you right. You don't have very many INQ's or new accounts. You'll be fine. Did you try their prequal site ??? I did and it showed absolutely nothing. I spun the wheel anyway and was approved as I mentioned. Citi on the other hand declined me for too many INQ's. They also pulled EX. I'm trying to recon, but have had no success.

NP, just read your last post. App, you're in. No worries. Get off the fence. I'm certain you'll be satisfied. While you're at it, hit up Cap One. I bet you get at least 20K with the Venture, and possibly up to 50K. They're extremely generous and not worried about alot of INQ's. But do them last. Go to their prequal webpage, if it comes up with offers, it's almost a guarantee. Best of luck !!!

Lately Chase is declining for too many inqs for last 2 years .be cautious.
