How reliable are AMEX mailed offers?

I've been thinking about app'ing for the AMEX Everyday. Seemingly by coincidence, I got an offer in the mail yesterday for the Everyday with an APR of 12.99% (which seems to be the lowest on the card). Truth be told, the APR isn't a huge concern to me as I would intend to pay in full every month. I'm just curious as to how reliable those offers are as in chance of approval. I loathe to waste a hard pull only to be declined.

First of all common sense. They dont know the debth of your report. Until you let them look. Its a superficial offer based in criteria they saw. No offer period is a guarantee. But. They are simply saying you have a better chance than most.  Its just that simple.

Re: How reliable are AMEX mailed offers?

since you have the fixed 12.99% in the offer I would assume you are golden not to mention your EX score!

Interesting. Seeing as Sam's Club doesn't even take AMEX. :/
