which one of your new cards were available to you when cap one gave you a card?
chance are if you opened a new cap one card now you would get a limit similar to or higher than your other cards.
I would try spending a more each month.
FTR - I have received CLIs of up to $8k each with cap one. They can grow but sometimes you need to open a new card. I went from 1 card at 3k to 3 cards totaling $85k (now $67k)

I feel ya. I got their bottom of the barrel "Platinum" card last year. After x amount of on time payments they auto CLI'd me ... $500. I did just upgrade the card to the QS last weekend.
Lately, I've gotten CLIs on my Citi and Discover cards of $1,000.00ea. I just mash the CLI buttons on the apps if they have em each month. Cause, why not? Its just a computer making a decision.
I saw this post and it reminded me to do just that. Opened the Cap One app 5 minutes ago, requested a CLI, and BAM... A whopping $300. So, now my CL is $3,800.00. Better than nothing I suppose.

Capital One is great for giving a chance to rebuilders or those with less than perfect credit but as you can see it comes with a price.
Some prefer to sock drawer, some wait and reapply for a different 3 HP card and some like me can't wait to close the card and be done with Cap One. No hard feelings, just not a lender I'd like to grow with. You do whatever works for your circumstances. GL!
