If you apply for more than one Chase cc within 24 hours, do they combine the pulls?

Wanting to apply for the Preferred but worried I may be declined. If so, I was wanting to to know I could then apply for a less difficult card (within 24 hours of applying for Preferred) such as the Freedom Unlimited and not recieve another hard pull.

When I applied for mine it was in the your offers section and I had an offer for both Chase Unlimited and Chase Sapphire Preferred and I just had to put in my income and was approved for both right after the other and it was only one pull for both.

Be careful with that, some users have reported multiple pulls when they apply in-branch.

I applied for CSP and CSR in the same day and received 2HP. 

This was a couple of years ago, but it might still be the case.

May I ask why you would apply for CSP and CSR at the same time? Chase only allows you to have one or the other, never both together. Were you expecting to be declined on one of them?

I was approved for both on the same day. This was back in '16 and the CSR was new and had the 100k UR Bonus. I applied for the CSP and was approved. I thought why not give the CSR a shot. Did not expect approval, got it with a $25k limit. 

I ended up with both cards and 170k bonus UR after I added a AU on the CSP. 

I guess they have changed the policy. I still have both cards to this day.

I don’t know how things went a couple of years ago, but I applied for the Freedom and CSP on NYE last year and only saw one pull from Chase for it. This experience has been shared by many posters here on the forum and other similar places like YouTube, Facebook and Reddit.

Some instances that normally do yield multiple pulls are in-branch or applications over the phone.
