@saeren very impressive line of cards you have
Thanks. I don’t really know how I manage to get them all to be honest with you. I guess they see $18K and figure I’ll be carrying balances and paying interest charges.
I am curious to see what happens when I don’t have a BK on my report anymore though.
I could have picked up some more accounts if I was willing to get accounts just to have them but I try to get cards I’ll use although two of my CU cards I keep just because they’re CU cards.

Possible to get 50 k of revolving credit total limits ?
As everyone has said, it's absolutely possible; but there's a caveat, as I'm sure you know. Everything else in the credit profile has to align--scores, UT, AAOA, low inqs, and no baddies in order to get modest SLs. And, it doesn't happen overnight. But with patience and focus, it indeed can and will happen.
I make $0 and have never held a job and have 30,000 not counting Amex Charge spending limits (about another 70k according to "Check SPending Limit")
Of course that's not literally true. But I worked in Canada and have never earned a penny in the US. The reason I'm mentioning it is once you've demonstrated an ability to use your credit responsibly, they don't much care where the money comes from.
sure ez peezy ,,,i have seen myfico peeps with more than 50k and 15k income,,,
In terms of a goal credit limit, a generous formula would be 20 times your normal monthly spending.
This would let your utilization stay around 5% and still stay around 10% during heavy spending times.
So while you could get 50K, it's not going to of any particular benefit to you.
Score, Total Util, and payment history >>>>> income

Oh, they CARE where the money comes from
. Don't even think that if a credit card company has an inkling that the spend is manufactured or the payments are from suspicious sources, they'll shut you down, without notice, faster than you can say 1-2-3. Now, I know you didn't mean this literally, but I still had to poke fun at it. ![]()
