Impulsive app for CFU: UPDATE APPROVED!

Ok, I have not had alot of recent activity the last few years in inquiries or apps, rebuld almost complete. I was instantly approved for the WF Propel the other day, never had that happen lol. The only other inquiry was one for an auto lease last April. Scores from 715 to 750 FICO 8. I do have two Chase cards at $30K total SL, but apped anyway. My current UTI is 19%. Anyways, I received the 30 day email review message and was completly deflated. Now I'm thinking everything is going to be cancelled, file closed, no credit cards ever again. Has anybody ever regretted impulsively apping for a card? I'm just vetting, but wow, what a letdown after being instantly approved once. Is $30K to much for Chase at $100K income? Uggh

Two days later, checked online and saw approval when I logged in, for $8400. I must of hit my credit line exposure with Chase.

Starting Score: 589/599/598 5/8/14
FICO® Score 8: EX 788 TU 791 EQ 785 05/09/23
Goal: Was 740 across all bureaus. DONE!

Re: Impulsive app for CFU

30 days is usually not a denial but more of a manual UW procedure. It could be verification or they just want to look at your credit. Just be very careful with tons of apps and chase. A lot of members have had there accounts closed because of high apps then going for a chase cards and get approved but then find out all accounts closed. I don’t think that is the case here with you unless your not telling us about more accounts you’ve opened recently.

Re: Impulsive app for CFU

No other credit card accounts opened in last two years. A recent loan two months ago and a recent auto lease last April. That’s it!

Its ok, not the end of the world lol. Many of us have impulse apped lol but not many of us have 100k income, credit world is yours if you want it lol. 30 days isnt the end either, just give it time.

30 days review is not a denial, and not even suggestive of a denial; if anything it is more suggestive of an acceptance.

So give it some time.
