Is NFCU becoming more strict with cli ?

I was declined for a CLI on nfcu my account is open 6 months now after 90 days I went from $500 to 15k but I was hoping to get approved today after the AR ,
it went to review and I called and they said I should hold on to get a decision and they came back saying declined and a letter will be sent
I guess nfcu is becoming more strict sounds like maybe because of so many ppl joining lately

You now have to wait 6 months in between CLI, after you just got one.

I know from what's posted around here for NFCU that they're generous with lending but, why isn't going from $500 to $15000 enough?  That's 30X what you started at and beats the hell out of taking the slow road to redemption with other lenders that would only give you $500 a pop for a CLI normally.  Sometimes it's fun to press your luck but, sometimes it's better to think about the bigger picture and not press your luck when they're being generous already.

$15K is nice, I'm just sitting here with my $1K waiting for my 90 days to pass.

NFCU strict?  Show me any other lender that gives a CLI from 500 to $15,000 in 90 days.  They have implemented time limits, in addition to the 90 days before CLI its now 6 months between CLI's.  That is pretty standard for most lenders.  Looking back to a little over a year ago my wifes account went from 500 to 6,500 to 10,000 in 90 days.  Now that would take 9 months so I suppose it is more strict but less strict than any other lender I am aware of.   Got a nice CLI for myself and my wife this morning, I went from 10k to 18k and my wife from 10k to 22k. I am not going to complain about that.

We tried to tell you the other time you posted a few days ago that you have to wait 6 mths between CLI now .. 15k is an amazing CL to have in just a short amount of time.. hang tight and you will get there

They gave my brother with only 1 AU account Reporting 4.6k.. no prior history. I don't think any other lender would have approved him for 1k but navy almost gave him a VS!

They still seem generous to me

To me it sounds like you ignored everyone while told you to wait 6 months after your previous CLI

I know I guess it's my fault 😞But let's see what the letter will say
So now I need to start a new 6 month sycle or i I can try in 2 months wen it's going to be 6 months from last cli
