My card is a store card, but i think i am going to keep it because there is no annual fee and i am eligible for $150 in cash advances. There is no fee from chevron for cash advances as long as i use an atm with a cirrus logo. There is a cirrus atm just down the street from me so this is my best card for cash advances if i ever needed one. Also my aaoa is already low (about 5 months for 4 cards) so i won't notice much of a difference there for the new card.
FYI, while there is no cash advance fee, the ATM operator will most likely charge a fee and you start accruing interest on the transaction immediately, until it's paid back.
Use the card, and PIF monthly. In about 4 months, get on chat with Synchrony and request a CLI to $5,000 and let them counter-offer.
I apologize. My information was outdated
