Plot thickens under approvals another person was approved and now they called and asked for status and said pending 7-10 days...hmmm.. hopefully a fluke

The backdoor number is wrong for application status. It says "due to high US call volume your wait may be extended." Then asks for acct number or apply for new card.

for shiz and giggles, i checked their pre-qual site and i'm eligible for quicksilver and venture card. *scratches head*. and yet they won't upgrade my platinum visa and master platinum for visa signature or wmc.

Not sure, I have to wait for the magical letter(s) to arrive. It could be:
1) EX frozen
2) myFico crashed their servers
3) Too much available credit
4) Current Venture cardholder (14 months)

I had 1EQ inq and 4TU inq, no negs, scores upper 700s, income over 100k, savings selected 10k-75k, same with money market.

What is the exact time that you applied? There might be a glitch and now they notice it. This scenario is not fun at all
